Booking form information

When you use the online booking form, we collect:

Booking requests are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so our team can review and handle them. Restaurant staff may access booking details through a secured admin area on this site.

We keep booking details for as long as reasonably needed to manage your reservation and keep basic records of bookings. When the information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where practical.

Why we process this information (UK GDPR)

We process booking details because they are needed to handle your reservation request, and because you consent (via the booking form checkbox) to us contacting you about that booking.

We do not use your booking details for unrelated marketing unless we clearly ask for that separately in future. This website’s booking form is for reservation contact only.

Website hosting and analytics

This website is hosted using Google Firebase Hosting.

We also use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how people use the site in general — for example which pages are visited. This typically involves cookies or similar technology and device/browser information. It is used to improve the website, not to decide individual bookings.

Google acts as a technology provider for hosting, database storage, and analytics. Their services may process data outside the UK, subject to Google’s own terms and safeguards.

Cookies

The site may set cookies or similar storage for analytics (via Firebase Analytics) and for normal website operation. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the website and bookings — principally with Google Firebase services described above — or if the law requires us to.
